How much does your dog need?

Stick to the dosage guidelines mentioned, you may want to start with the ‘acute’ dosage if your dog’s condition is severe. Or for example, if your dog is suffering from joint stiffness and you do not see any improvement in the first 2-4 weeks of giving the supplement at a maintenance dosage, you can increase the dosage to ‘acute’. After a month or so, once your pet’s health condition improves, you can decrease the dosage to the maintenance dosages mentioned.

Maintenance:

1-10kg give 1 capsule per day

11-25kg give 2 capsules per day

26-40kg give 3 capsules per day

40+kg give 4 capsules per day

Acute:

Give dosage twice daily for 10 days then reduce to once daily or as required.

Each NZ Pure Health Pure Pets capsule contains 200mg Green Lipped Mussel extract powder (5:1) equivalent to 1000mg of fresh Green Lipped Mussel and encapsulating materials.

Great product

Our little dog was on tablets from the vet for her arthritis, I was keen to try a more natural product. We switched her over to GLM tablets, after about 2 and half weeks she was back to moving around a lot more freely. We love that it is a natural product and much more cost effective.

Green mussel extract

Noticeable improvement in my golden Labradors mood and she's handling walks better! Not bad for a dog who's 12 yrs old now with arthritis. Not wincing anymore when getting up either.

Improves prostate health ?

I bought this as a suggestion from my dogs breeder to decrease the size in my dogs prostate. After confirmed BPH through ultrasound, I started him on these for 5 weeks and then rechecked ultrasound. The prostate inflammation had gone down about 1/2 cm. Now I keep him on it to hopefully continue to keep him in a more normal range for an intact male. Either way, it is a beneficial product !
